Huatulco Bird Festival
The first event took place October 25-27, 2006. Events included presentations, films, workshops, excursions to the countryside. The event was sponsored by Parque Nacional Huatulco (CONANP), la Sociedad Mexicana de Ornitología y la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). The state of Oaxaca has the greatest number of bird species in the country.

Huatulco Arts and Crafts Fair
In early April each year, at La Crucecita, an arts and crafts fair is held. Here you can find the best array of Oaxacan culture.

Festival of the Holy Cross
Held annually on Good Friday, this festival Cruz of Huatulco remembers when the Spaniards first arrived at to the bay of Huatulco, and they discovered a great wood cross standing on beach now called Santa Cruz.

The Huatulco, Oaxaca, International Sailfish Tournament is held at the end of April each year at the Bahías de Huatulco, Oaxaca
